-my inspiration

It all started back in my high school days.

One Sunday evening, I was watching a magazine-style TV show on a local channel here in the Philippines. They were featuring a blogger who shared his travels and life stories through his blog. He even met his life partner through blogging. I was amazed by his journey how he used the internet as his personal journal to inspire others.

Right then and there, a dream was shaped in me!

Someday, I’ll make my own blog too a space to share my creativity, my journal, and the story of my life.

Even as a child, I was drawn to stories and history. I remember being fascinated by books, especially Reader’s Digest one of the first English books I read outside school. The article I read was about the pyramids of Egypt. I didn’t always understand every word, but I was too curious to stop.

My mother used to collect old books, even those damaged by typhoons. I read whatever I could get my hands on, even if I couldn’t understand everything because I wanted to learn, to explore, to grow.

In college, my curiosity grew deeper. I watched countless English documentaries, often without subtitles. I struggled to understand everything, but I never gave up because learning made me happy. These passions,  storytelling, learning, curiosity have always been with me. They are my joy. My calling!

After college, I applied to BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) companies. I failed many times. So, I worked in warehousing jobs where English wasn’t required. After a year or two, I tried again. This time, I barely passed the Versant exam but I passed. That small victory was the start of my BPO journey. Over six years, I worked with different companies, learning, growing, and building confidence.

Eventually, I took a leap of faith and shifted into the digital world remote job. It wasn’t easy. I still struggle with English grammar and pronunciation. But I’ve learned something more important than perfection

-never give up on your inner child’s dream.

That dream to tell stories, share journeys, and inspire others is what led me here.

Welcome to my journey. I’m still learning. Still growing. Still dreaming. And I’m here to share it with you.
